We're releasing Hell's Kitchen Chronicles the way Sloane would — one fight at a time. Seven months. Seven stories. The complete first season of The Brass Veil, delivered to your desktop like a serial from the era it's set in.
The truth is, Sloane’s story was initially written as a television screenplay, and we intended to port it as a graphic novel. That was always our vision — panel by panel, frame by frame, every gaslit alley and ghostly figure rendered in full sequential art. But doing it that way takes resources that are beyond our reach.
We love Sloane, and her story has waited long enough.
So we're telling it in prose — vivid, atmospheric short stories accompanied by original artwork that brings the characters and their world to life. You'll read the story. You'll see the faces. You'll know these people.
Every ghost. Every secret. Every fog-covered street in Hell's Kitchen. Nothing has been cut. Nothing has been softened. This is the full story — told by firelight instead of frame by frame.
And if this finds its audience — if you show up the way we believe you will — we're coming back to do the graphic novel. The way it was always meant to be told. That's not a maybe. That's a promise waiting for its moment.
The story is ready. We're not waiting anymore.
