In the fog-shrouded streets of 1890s New York City, where gaslight struggles against the darkness and wealth towers over desperate poverty, a young woman stands between two worlds — and she's the only one who can see both.
SLOANE DUFFY: HELL'S KITCHEN CHRONICLES is an ongoing supernatural drama that fuses the atmospheric Gothic horror of Penny Dreadful, the character-driven mystery of Grimm, and the slow-burn romance of Outlander, all set against the authentic grit of Gilded Age America — and structured around the most powerful week in the Christian calendar.

THE PREMISE
Sloane Duffy is a twenty-six-year-old working-class bartender who owns The Brass Veil, a Hell's Kitchen public house that serves two clienteles: the living, who come for drinks and company, and the dead, who come seeking peace. Through a mysterious artifact — an ancient Celtic stone called Brighid's Tear, set in a carved wooden Planchette necklace — Sloane can see and communicate with the restless spirits trapped between worlds.
But her gift is killing her. The stone drains her life force with every interaction. The constant assault of voices, the sensory overload of seeing ghosts everywhere, the physical toll — it's all breaking her down. Desperate for answers, she breaks into the Catholic Church's secret supernatural archive, only to be discovered by Burton Ward, a Fifth Avenue aristocrat on his own desperate mission: save his dying mentor before the next full moon.
What begins as an uneasy alliance between a working-class medium and a wealthy vigilante's protégé becomes something neither expected: genuine connection that defies every social boundary of their world.

THE HOOK
What if your gift to help the dead is literally killing you?
Sloane made a promise to the ghosts who haunt her bar — help them find peace. But with each interaction draining her life force, with werewolves hunting New York's protectors, and with the Catholic Church condemning her as a heretic — that promise may cost her everything.
And she just naively invited a 500-year-old vampire into her bar.
